I'm so happy to be invited by one of the greatest musicians of our time, Sir András Schiff to participate in his "Schubertiade" chamber music project. We played "Gesang der Geister über dem Wasser" first in the Brahms Saal of the Vienna Musikverein, and we repeated this programme in the Gstaad Menuhin Festival as well. What a group of great chamber musicians, like Hariolf Schlichtig, Yuuko Shiokawa, Rafael Rosenfeld, and Xenia Jankovic, the ensemble led by Sir András Schiff!
Such a pleasure to play Vanhal's Bass Concerto with the Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra in Warsaw under the baton of Rafal Janiak! Looking forward!

It has been a great honor and joy to play the solo double bass part of Helena Winkelman's new piece 'Sonnet 74' dedicated to me. Such an incredible feeling to play at in the Lockenhaus Chamber Music Festival! Thank you, Helena for this wonderful and touching music, I'm convinced this amazing piece will have a strong long-term place in the bass repertoire! Thank you Ilya Gringolts and Péter Szabó for the great support!
It was a very special event to play Hindemith's Sonata (written in 1949) with my great colleague Prof. Dávid Báll in the chamber music serie "Quarantaine Evenings" of the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Looking forward to an other occasion! The sonata begins at 11.00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahEHjSi4vcw&feature=emb_logo
Good news in turbulent times: despite the epidemic the legendary Lockenhaus Festival founded by Gidon Kremer will be organized this year as well. Zsolt Fejérvári has been invited again to the Festival of Lockenhaus from 9th until the 11th July 2020

A very special occasion to play in June in an other marvellous chamber music festival founded by Sir András Schiff and Heinz Holliger. Three concertos for cello and orchestra, including a world premiere by Helena Winkelmann, played by Nicolas Altstaedt.
It's always something touching to play Haydn in the Main Hall of the Esterházy Castle, Eisenstadt as Principal Bass of the Haydn-Philharmonie Having wonderful musicians on stage like world-class cellist Nicolas Altstaedt and one of the greatest concert masters I know, Daniel Giglberger - that's already the cherry on the cookie! "The 7 last words of the Saviour" at Easter - I have no words...
