Good news in turbulent times: despite the epidemic the legendary Lockenhaus Festival founded by Gidon Kremer will be organized this year as well. Zsolt Fejérvári has been invited again to the Festival of Lockenhaus from 9th until the 11th July 2020

A very special occasion to play in June in an other marvellous chamber music festival founded by Sir András Schiff and Heinz Holliger. Three concertos for cello and orchestra, including a world premiere by Helena Winkelmann, played by Nicolas Altstaedt.

It's always something touching to play Haydn in the Main Hall of the Esterházy Castle, Eisenstadt as Principal Bass of the Haydn-Philharmonie  Having wonderful musicians on stage like world-class cellist Nicolas Altstaedt and one of the greatest concert masters I know, Daniel Giglberger - that's already the cherry on the cookie! "The 7 last words of the Saviour" at Easter - I have no words... 

It was a huge pleasure to play Vanhal's Bass Concerto in the fascinating building of the Palace of Culture in Targu Mures (Marosvásárhely). We had great fun with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Targu Mures and conductor Gábor Káli. Thank you for these wonderful days!

Great pleasure for having participated to the great bass jamboree in Lucca this summer, and meet the most eminents of my colleagues! 

What a week! After a standing ovation at the end of a sold-out concert in NY's Lincoln Center with the Budapest Festival Orchestra I had the privilege to play in a private concert on Rick Barber's 1620 Maggini. Rick, thank you for your kindness and generosity!
